Refund Policy
How ConceptViz handles refunds for subscriptions and diagram credits.

1. Overview
ConceptViz is built for STEM teachers who need dependable diagrams during the school year. We keep our refund policy simple, transparent, and aligned with classroom realities. All prices are in USD.

2. Subscriptions
Monthly Plans
- Cancel anytime to stop future renewals.
- Access continues until the end of the paid month.
- We do not issue prorated refunds for partially used months.
Annual Plans
- You may request a full refund within 14 days if no diagram credits have been used.
- After 14 days, we may grant a prorated refund minus the value of credits consumed (based on the equivalent monthly rate).
- Once more than 50% of annual credits are used, the subscription is non-refundable.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date.
3. Credits & Usage
- Diagram credits deducted for successful generations are non-refundable.
- Credits automatically return to your balance if a generation fails for technical reasons.
- One-time add-on credits can be refunded within 7 days of purchase if unused.
- Credits expire according to your plan; expired credits cannot be restored.
4. How to Request a Refund
- Email contact@conceptviz.app using the subject “Refund Request.”
- Include your account email, order ID, and a short explanation (e.g., unused annual plan, billing error).
- We respond within two business days and process approved refunds within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method; banks may take additional time to post funds.
5. Service Issues
If ConceptViz experiences an outage that prevents you from generating diagrams for more than 24 consecutive hours, contact us and we will either credit your account or extend your billing cycle.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
We cannot refund:
- Credits already spent on successful generations
- Accounts terminated for violating the Terms of Service
- Promotional, bonus, or courtesy credits
- Third-party transaction fees beyond our control
7. Policy Changes
We may update this policy to reflect product changes or regulatory requirements. Updates take effect upon posting.
